When transforming from the high heel to the low heel, the portion of the high heel not being used stows in the arch of the shoe sole and is unseen by others when you are standing or walking.

The idea for shoes that transform occurred to David Handel one day during a cab ride in Manhattan. He noticed many women who were stylishly dressed, walking in sneakers. It was also a time when David's two young sons enjoyed playing with Transformer Robots, and the idea of transforming shoes clicked for him. Joined with his sister some years later, the idea, design and technology came together as a transforming shoe called Low Heels.
